LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE WILDERNESS

POLICY FOR THE USE OF THE CHURCH FOR WEDDINGS

 

This policy is written for all weddings held at the Lutheran Church of the Wilderness.  Contact the Pastor for scheduling of weddings at the Church.

  • A $100 fee is required for use of the Church for weddings.  Check should be made payable to the Lutheran Church of the Wilderness.  Other fees.
    • $100 honorarium for the Pastor
    • $50 fee for the organist
    • $25 fee for the janitor
  • The following areas may be used
    • Sanctuary
    • Fellowship Hall
    • Kitchen
    • Upstairs bathroom
    • Basement may only be used by members of the wedding party requiring an area for dressing
  • No tossing or strewing of flowers on the carpet or floors is allowed, as the soil and stains on carpet and aisle runner require extraordinary effort to remove.
  • Garbage is to be placed in the garbage cans located outside the parsonage garage.
  • All areas used must be thoroughly cleaned- swept and mopped.
  • An adult shall supervise all children.
  • Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages or illicit drugs are permitted on the premises.
